We have a new member of the Lumina family. Ash Vekaria is our new Service Delivery Manager, a new role we created to help us enhance our offering and make sure we continue to deliver exceptional levels of service to all our clients.
Ash’s objectives are very clear – to make sure our clients are happy! His skills, experience and drive for results have given him the ability to bridge gaps between business and IT, and he is keen to help us enhance and evolve the business. He will therefore liaise between the team and our clients to ensure a smooth and efficient service, meeting clients on a regular basis to get feedback, make sure service levels have been met, deal with any issues and discuss the way forward.
Ash joins us from Xerox where he was a Client and Service Manager. Previously, he worked on a broad array of roles including consultancy, business development, project management and service management for a number of blue-chip organisations. In addition to a Business Information Systems Design degree, he also holds AgilePM Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner and ITIL qualifications.
Even though he’s used to working in large corporations, he’s already settled in well to the corporate culture of a small company. “Having been in the global corporate environment for many years, joining a SME has been such a refreshing and rewarding experience. With the honesty and transparency afforded to me, from the outset by Richard, I’ve felt so much more ‘wanted’ and part of the fabric of Lumina.”
Charity challenges
Married with two children, Ash is always active. He enjoys a variety of sports and is an addicted recreational scuba diver. For many years he organised the largest annual Asian 5-a-side football tournament in the country. He has also organised and participated in a number of charity challenges including The 3 Peaks Challenge and London to Paris Cycle ride.
